BOTOX®

This is a treatment which relaxes the muscles which cause facial lines and wrinkles and is available from our BOTOX® clinic. It is particularly effective in treating the deep frown lines, forehead lines and crow’s feet lines. Small amounts of BOTOX® are injected into these areas, resulting in relaxation of these muscles, giving the face a much more relaxed appearance. There are many different muscles within the face and BOTOX® is only administered to the muscles that are in the problem area, therefore you will still be able to produce many facial expressions after treatment.

BOTOX® can also be used to reduce localised sweating. Studies have shown that this treatment can be used in hyperhidrosis of the face, palms, the soles of the feet and underarms (axillae) all available at our clinics

VOLUMA

Juvederm VOLUMA with Lidocaine is a clinically proven volumising treatment which is carefully injected to replenish lost volume to give a gentle lifting effect, that can reduce facial sagging.

Beneath the skin’s surface, the lower layers gradually lose supporting tissue and volume which causes it to sag under gravity. This process can visibly change the shape and profile of the face, particularly the chin and cheeks.

Juvederm VOLUMA has the capacity to restore deep volume loss in the cheek, chin and other areas. It delivers the same hydrating properties of hyaluronic acid but in a smooth, long lasting formulation that works more deeply.

The combination of Lidocaine makes the treatment experience and the time afterwards more comfortable. Results can be seen within 30 minutes and can last up to 18 months.

SCULPTRA

Sculptra is a poly lactic acid which stimulates collagen production within the deep dermis of the skin. Rebuilt collagen strands help to restore facial volume. It can also be used in people suffering from facial fat loss (lipodystrophy). The number of injection appointments and the number of injections on each visit, vary from person to person, but on average three appointments are needed at 6-8 week intervals. The effects of these treatment can last for up to 3 years.

BOTOX treatment for sweating

BOTOX® is a treatment given by injection into the skin and is available from our Clinic in Surrey. It is indicated for the treatment of axillary hyperhidrosis. When small doses are injected into the skin, BOTOX® blocks the actions of the nerves that supply the eccrine glands; this prevents the glands from producing sweat. BOTOX® blocks the nerve endings for several weeks until new nerve endings grow to replace them. The effects of the treatment are usually noticed within a week and can last for up to 12 months. In a clinical trial, sweat production was reduced by 83% one week after treatment and furthermore, sweating was reduced by at least half in 95% of patients.
